COVID-19 Safety: Our 10-point wellness protocol
We've adjusted many of our operating procedures to maximize the health and safety of the children under our care, their families, and our staff. These procedures are constantly being updated and refined as we learn more about Covid-19 and consult with the Department of Social Services Childcare Licensing. (Below)
Our 10 Step (and counting) Plan:
Temperature checks of the children/staff upon entry, as well as throughout the day
20-second hand-washing upon arrival and frequently throughout the day
Parent drop-off/pick-up outside the building, only children/staff allowed on campus
Face masks worn by 100% of staff and strongly encouraged in children over Two. Outdoor shoes not permitted in classrooms.
Round-the-clock disinfecting of the facility, high-touch surfaces, and play equipment
Added hand disinfecting stations throughout the building
Maximized outdoor time due to better air circulation
Children separated into smaller (lower ratio) groups
Groups managed with the same children and caregiver throughout each day
Curriculum, care-giving, and napping implemented with social-distancing as the priority
